Dr. H. S. Linfield has resigned his position as director of the Statistical Department of the American Jewish Committee, to head the Jewish Statistical Bureau, newly organized, it is announced by the Bureau. He has served with the American Jewish Committee for the past eleven years.
Dr. Linfield is a graduate of the Hebrew Union College for the training of Rabbis, and a member of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He received his degree of Ph.D. from the graduate school of the University of Chicago in 1919, and he is a member of the American Academy of Science.
