Dr. Isador Lubin, Consultant to the Jewish Agency for Israel, Inc., left today for Israel to study the Jewish Agency’s rehabilitation and resettlement program and to lay the foundations for the Jerusalem office of the Permanent Representative of the New York corporation.
On his way to Israel, Dr. Lubin will spend a few days in Europe to confer with Dr. Nahum Goldmann and other Jewish Agency officials and to visit Jewish Agency transit centers. He expects to return to New York by the end of September to submit his preliminary report to the Board of Directors of the Jewish Agency for Israel, Inc.
His report will serve as a basis for determining allocations to be made by the New York organization for the budgetary year 1960/61.
