Dr. Isidor Margolis, noted Jewish educator, was appointed today as executive director of the World Council on Jewish Education. Announcement of his choice was made by Rabbi Joseph H. Lookstein, coordinator of the Council’s World Praesidium. Dr. Margolis, who has been executive vice-president of the National Council for Torah Education for the past 20 years, has been in the Jewish educational field for a quarter of a century.
