Prof. Isaac Dowber Markon, a noted orientalist who was among 60 Jewish Soviet citizens recently ordered deported from Germany, arrived today to settle here with the permission of the Dutch Government. Prof. Markon, who had been Docent of the University of St. Petersburg and on the faculty of Minsk University, had been living in Berlin for many years.
