The appointment of Dr. Martin Rosenblueth as representative for the Western Hemisphere of the Treasury of Israel was announced today by Eliezer Kaplan, Israeli Minister of Finance prior to his return to Tel Aviv.
Dr. Rosenblueth Joined the civil service of the Zionist movement in 1910. He also held a number of leading positions in Zionist work in Central Europe. When the Nazis assumed control in Germany, Dr. Chaim Weizmann appointed him director of the London office of the Bureau for Settlement of Gorman Jews in Palestine, which, was established in 1933. Since 1941, he has been director of information of the United Palestine Appeal. His brother, Dr. Felix Rosenblueth, is Minister of Justice in Israel.
