Dr. Maurice J. Karpf, distinguished psychologist, educator and social worker, died here at the age of 73. He had been director of Chicago Jewish Charities, president of and professor at the Graduate School of Jewish Social Work, executive director of the Federation of Jewish Welfare Organizations of Los Angeles, and president of the International Conference of Jewish Social Work. His last position was as executive director of the Los Angeles Jewish Community Council.
