Dr. S. M. Melamed, prominent Zionist and journalist, who was editor of the Chicago “Jewish Courier” for six years, resigned from his post today. He has accepted a position as assistant manager of a large coal company in Chicago.
Dr. Melamed will continue his activities in the Zionist Organization of Chicago and also his literary work, but not in the daily press.
