Dr. George Minden, former director of the Berlin Municipal Loan Institute, which office he held for over thirty years died here at the age of 78.
Dr. Minden was for many years a member of the Berlin Jewish Community, of which he was for a time chairman. He was an authority on Jewish folk-lore and interested himself in Jewish art. He made an important collection of works by leading Jewish artists.
