The degree of Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology was conferred upon Dr. Moses Garber of Cleveland at the Congress of the American College of Surgeons which held its sessions October 17-21 in St. Louis. Dr. Garber is chief in Obstetrics at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Cleveland.
Dr. Garber, besides his professional distinction, has also rendered service to the Palestinian movement. He has visited Palestine with his family and he, as well as Mrs. Garber, take a keen interest in Hebrew culture and is well acquainted with the Hebraic renaissance.
Dr. Garber was in charge of the arrangements for the visit of Dr. Chaim Weizmann and Dr. Albert Einstein to Cleveland in May, 1921, and introduced the distinguished scientist at a banquet held in the then B’nai Brith Hall in Cleveland.
