Dr. Moses Hyamson, 86, acting Chief Rabbi of the British Empire from 1911-1913, died here after a three-year illness. Dr. Hyamson was Professor Emeritus of Codes at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and rabbi 0f Congregation Orach Chaim since 1913. He translated numerous Judaic classics into English.
