Dr. Moses Moskowitz, secretary-general of the Consultative Council of Jewish Organizations, today received a 1958 award from the Mexican Front for Human Rights, sharing the honor with President Eisenhower, Gen. Charles de Gaulle and the Mexican Ambassador to Haiti, Dr. Cesar Garizurieta.
The award was presented to Dr. Moskowitz at a special ceremony conducted this morning in the office of Edyardo Espanosay Prieto, acting chief of the Mexican delegation to the United Nations. The citation to Dr. Moskowitz was given to him on connection with his proposals to the United Nations Human Rights Commission on behalf of the Consultative Council which represents here the American Jewish Committee, Alliance Israelite of France and the Anglo-Jewish Association of Britain.
