Dr. Nahum Goldmann, former president of the World Jewish Congress, met here Monday with Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. The meeting took place shortly before Sadat left Paris for Rome. Goldmann, who was accompanied by six other Jewish leaders, said the meeting took place at Sadat’s invitation. The other members of the delegation were not named. Egyptian sources said Goldmann asked Sadat not to give up his efforts for peace in the Middle East.
