The work of the Jerusalem and New York offices of the Economic Department of the Jewish Agency has been placed under the joint responsibility of Dr. Emanuel Neumann and Mrs. Rose Halprin, it was announced today by the Agency executive.
Under the new arrangement Mrs. Halprin, who has been responsible for the work of the department in New York and Dr. Neumann, who recently joined the executive, will jointly plan the operations of the integrated department not only in Israel and the united States but in other centers of Jewish life. Dr. Neumann will leave for Israel shortly in connection with the reorganization of the department there.
