The first anniversary of the death of Dr. Paul Nathan, late German Jewish leader and one of the founders of the Hilfsverein der Deutschen Juden, was commemorated here.
A bust of the late leader was unveiled in the art gallery of the Berlin Kehillah. The speakers at the unveiling ceremony, including Herr Sandler on behalf of the Kehillah. Professor Schaeffer on behalf of the Hilfsverein and Herr Weil on behalf of the Central Verein and Dr. Syngalowsky of the Ort, paid tribute to the memory of Dr. Paul Nathan who was described as the leading personality of German Jewry having devoted his life to Jewish reconstruction work.
