Dr. Jacob P. Rudin, rabbi of Temple Beth E of Great Neck, N.Y. was named president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis yesterday at a meeting of the CCAR executive board. Dr. Rudin, who was vice president of the Reform rabbinical body, succeeded to the post vacated by the death of Dr. Israel Bettan.
