Dr. Abram Leon Sachar, national director of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation, opened the 1934-35 lecture series of the College of Jewish Studies, which is sponsored by B’nai B’rith, with three lectures, “Crises in Jewish History,” “Some Modern Dreamers of the Ghetto” and “New Dangers in Contemporary Jewish Life.” An impressive array of speakers is scheduled for the series being conducted under the chairmanship of Eli A. Miller.
