Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization, left for Israel today for discussions with government leaders of plans for next year’s Israel bond campaign. During a ten-day visit to Israel, Dr. Schwartz will meet with Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, Finance Minister Levi Eshkol and other key personalities in government, finance and business.
On his return, Dr. Schwartz will report on his trip at a special 1963 planning conference of the board of governors of the Israel Bond Organization. The meeting will be held on Saturday evening, January 12 and Sunday, January 13 at the Savoy-Hilton Hotel in New York, with the participation of the outstanding Jewish leaders of the United States and Canada.
