Funeral services will be held here tomorrow for Dr. Sidney S. Tedesche, rabbi emeritus of Union Temple, Reform, of Brooklyn, who died yesterday at Hollywood, Fla. He was 72. From 1929 until his retirement in 1954 he was the spiritual leader of Union Temple.
A specialist in Alexandrian Greek literature, Rabbi Tedesche translated the First and Second Books of Maccabees and the Book of Esdras, apocryphal works. He was also the author of “Jewish Champions of Religious Liberalism.”
