Jewish and non-Jewish leaders here paid tribute last night to Dr. Abba Hillel Silver as a "Zionist, religious leader and prominent American" at a farewell reception in his honor. Among those present were Catholic leader March Sangnier, Leopold Fedor Senghor Negro representative of Senegal in the French National Assembly, and a representative of the U.S. Embassy. Silver reviewed the mutual influence of the French and American spirits In. bringing about a, "just solution of the Jewish problem."
