Dr. Solomon G. Meyers, former chief of the Internal Medicine Division of Harper Hospital and an internationally known diagnostician, died at the age of 68 here.
Following his retirement from the Harper Hospital post in 1955, he served as consultant to the hospital, and to Mount Sinai Hospital, the Detroit General Hospital and Veterans Administration hospitals. A specialist in diseases of the digestive tract, he was considered by his peers the leading authority in the field of his generation.
He had been a professor of internal medicine at Wayne State University College of Medicine, vice chief of staff at Sinal Hospital and chief of staff at the North End Clinic.
