Dr. S.E. Soskin, agricultural expert and member of the central committee of the Zionist Revisionists, arrived in New York on Thursday for a three months’ stay in the United States.
The purpose of Dr. Soskin’s visit is to aid in the campaign of the Revisionists, oppositional group within the Zionist Organization, to elect delegates to the forthcoming Zionist Congress in Zurich this Summer. He will visit California where he will study the methods of intensive cultivation practiced in certain districts there and which he proposes to introduce in Palestine.
“The report of the experts of the Non-Partisan Palestine Survey Commission proved that my plan of intensive cultivation in Palestine is the method to be introduced,” Dr. Soskin declared. “Although the Zionist Congresses in previous years accepted my plan, it was not put into effect because of lack of funds,” he said.
