Dr. Viteles Awarded Foreign Fellowship; Plans European Study

Announcement that the Social Science Research Council has awarded a foreign fellowship to Dr. Morris S. Viteles, assistant professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, has been received at the university.

Dr. Viteles is planning to leave for Europe at the end of the summer to attend an international congress on applied psychology to be held at Prague, Czechoslovakia, where he will deliver an address covering research on the analysis of motor skill, which he has been carrying on in the laboratory of the University of Pennsylvania through the agency of a grant made by the research committee of the University.

Following this, he plans to proceed to Moscow where, with the cooperation of Russian industrial psychologists, he will have an opportunity to observe the results of investigations in laboratories of Russian universities and to become familiar with the practices of industrial psychologists in Russian factories and business organizations.
