Dr. David Weinstein, associate in education at Harvard University, and field and budget director of Harvard University’s language teaching program in Israel, was elected president of the College of Jewish Studies here. He is expected to assume his office next February.
Dr. Weinstein has been assistant to the dean and registrar at the Hebrew Teachers College in Brookline, Mass, He also served in the same institution as professor of language education, and as director of the department of adult studies. He is the author of “Hebrew Through Pictures,” “Hebrew Reader,” “Teacher’s Guide for Harvard Graded-Direct Method of Instruction” and a Hebrew-English and English-Hebrew pocket dictionary.
