Two hundred delegates, representing the Zionist societies of Germany attended the opening of the twentieth annual convention of the German Zionist Federation last night. Two thousand guests were also present.
Dr. Lansbreg was elected president of the convention. Dr. Chaim Weizmann, in a speech which lasted one hour, reported to the convention on the political situation of the Zionist movement and defined his attitude with regard to the report of the Permanent Mandates Commission, on the relations between the Zionist movement and Catholicism, the Palestine immigration policy and the formation of the Jewish Agency.
