Dr. Stephen S. Wise sails today on the steamer Aquitania for Europe. Dr. Wise, by virtue of his membership in the Executive Council of the World Zionist Organization, will be one of the members of the Zionist Congress of Zurich. He will also attend a meeting of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University. Dr. Wise will join with the members of the Committee for the World Religious Peace Conference, which is to meet in Frankfort toward the close of August. Dr. Wise is accompanied by Mrs. Wise.
Dr. Wise has accepted a commission of the American Jewish Congress, as Chairman of its Committee on European Affairs, to cooperate in the reorganization of its Geneva Bureau.
While in England, Dr. Wise will address the twenty-fifth anniversary Herzl Memorial Meeting in London on July 18. At the meeting, Sir Herbert Samuel will preside and Lord Melchett will also deliver an address.
