Dr. Wise to Speak for American Palestine Campaign

Funeral services were held in Baltimore, Md., for Abraham Eisenberg. Mr. Eisenberg, who was 72, died last Thursday while visiting friends. He was well known for his philanthropic activities and his connections with charitable associations.

Dr. Stephen S. Wise, one of the Honorary Chairmen of the American Palestine Campaign, will be the guest of honor in a number of cities during the next few months in connection with the launching of fund-raising efforts for Palestine, it has been announced by the national headquarters of the Campaign.

Dr. Wise will speak on several phases of recent Palestine problems at a luncheon that is being tendered to him at the Boston City Club on Tuesday, February 7th. The function is being sponsored by a group of friends of Dr. Wise, headed by Max Shoolman.

The St. Louis Jewish community is preparing a welcome for Dr. Wise when he arrives in the city to be the guest of honor at a function to be tendered to him on February 18th.

He will be in Springfield, Mass. on Monday evening, March 13th, at a public reception to be held at the Kimball Hotel. Harry M. Ehrlich is Chairman of the local American Palestine Campaign.
