Drainage operations in the Jewish-owned areas of the Huleh demilitarized zone continue because the Israel Government has not yet received United Nations Truce Chief Major General William E. Riley’s orders to cease work, a government spokesman stated today.
A Damascus broadcast monitored here today declared that the Syrian delegates to the Israel-Syrian Mixed Armistice Commission would not attend a commission meeting scheduled for this Sunday unless all operations in the Huleh had ceased by then.
