The United Jewish Relief campaign for $3,250,000 to aid Jews of Germany and eastern Europe will continue into the Summer, I. Edwin Goldwasser, one of the drive’s co-chairmen, announced yesterday.
A $25-a-plate “give-or-get” luncheon will be held at the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria Friday with James G. McDonald, League of Nations High Commissioner for German Refugees, the chief speaker. Mrs. Herbert H. Lehman and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg will also speak.
Prof. Albert Einstein will be guest of honor at a dinner of the Appeal’s goods and trades division Wednesday night at the Hotel Commodore.
