A special drive to triple its membership of 200 lodges, fraternal societies, labor unions and synagogues is being launched by the Lodges and Societies Division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies.
Invitations were sent out in a citywide appeal for representation at a rally which will be held at the Community House of Congregation Emanu-El, on December 18, at which will be discussed the group’s participation in the present drive of the Federation to complete a budget of $3,923,000 for the support of its ninety-one affiliated philanthropic institutions.
Felix M. Warburg, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Federation, will speak at the rally, as will Judge Jonah J. Goldstein and B. C. Vladeck.
