Dropsie College has acquired the library of Edward Glaser, the well-known explorer and Arabic scholar. Glaser undertook four expeditions in Arabia and his library is very rich in books and pamphlets on Arabian topics.
It consists in all of four hundred and fifty volumes and contains the complete works of all the famous Arabian explorers. It has very important Arabic texts and works relating to epigraphy and Ethiopia. With the new addition the Dropsie College now contains a total of 24,259 volumes.
