The Board of Governors of Dropsie College for Hebrew and Cognate Learning today announced that it has named several more members to the Board. The new members are Henry Monsky, president of the B’nai B’rith, upon whom the college conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Hebrew Literature in 1942; Dr. Alvin Thalheimer, of Baltimore, noted for his interest in Jewish higher education, and Mr. Louis Caplan, prominent attorney and a leading Jewish figure in Pittsburgh.
