Robert Briscoe, Dublin’s first Jewish Mayor, left today for Boston where he will deliver the keynote address at the opening meeting of the Boston Combined Jewish Appeal and take part in the St, Patrick’s Day celebration of Boston’s Irish Americans.
I will speak in 12 major cities on behalf of the United Jewish Appeal’s $1000, 000, 000 Emergency Rescue Fund and its regular 1957 campaign, Special dinners in Mr. Briscoe’s honor will be held in six cities which he will visit in behalf of the 1957 campaign for the sale of $75, 000, 000 in State of Israel Bonds, according to Abraham Feinberg, president of the Israel Bond Organization.
