The Duke of Windsor, it was learned here today, is appealing to Chancellor Adolf Hitler for the release of his friends, Dr. Heinrich Neumann and members of the Rothschild family. Dr. Neumann, famous ear specialist, has treated the former British Monarch, while Baron Eugene Rothschild was his lost at Enzesfeld Castle following his abdication. Dr. Neumann and at least one of the three Rothschild brothers, Baron Louis, are reported under arrest in Vienna.
