After cards with the words, “Jews Not Wanted,” were delivered to all seaside hotels in Neordivijk, the local Nazi paper commented: “Strange, indeed, is the attitude of many owners of hotels on the seafront who inadvertently deleted the word ‘not’ so that the cards read ‘Jews Wanted’.”
