E.U. officials may ask Israel to pay for damages its forces inflicted on Palestinian projects funded by E.U. taxpayers, a French official said. A spokesman for France’s Foreign Ministry, Bernard Valero, said Wednesday the issue of compensation would be considered by E.U. foreign ministers when they meet Jan. 28.
