The East Galician Zionist conference, with 250 delegates, opened here today. Those present include 70 Revisionists and 70 members of the opposition group. Senator Schrieber is chairman of the conference which will last two days. The first day of the conference was taken up for the most part with memorial addresses on Lord Balfour, Louis Marshall and Leon Reich. The delegates paid a visit to the grave of the latter.
The agenda includes a discussion of the Palestine situation, Zionist problems, organization questions and the political and economic status of Polish Jewry.
