Israel’s Foreign Minister Abba Eban and Governor Nelso A. Rockefeller will address more than 800 Jewish communal leaders at the 1971 Inaugural Dinner of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York, Thursday evening, it was announced today by Morris L. Levinson, president of the organization. The event will honor the five general chairmen who led last year’s UJA drive. An unprecedented $150,000,000 which New York UJA has undertaken to raise in 1971 is part of a total $400,000,000 being sought by the national UJA to support a vastly broadened social-welfare program in Israel and other areas of the world.
