Foreign Minister Abba Eban repeated in the Knesset today his demand that the Greek government repudiate its agreement with the hijackers of the Olympic Airways plane and refuse to release the seven convicted terrorists. Mr. Eban was replying to a question by Shmuel Tamir of the “Free Centre” on “the attitude on the Greek government to air piracy by Arab murder gangs and the necessary measures against this.” “We believe that a deal made with criminals for criminals in invalid.” He added that efforts to convince the Greek government not to release the terrorists are still continuing. “At the same time we are investigating very thoroughly the part played by the representative of the Red Cross in this affair.”
