Mitchell Sharp, the Secretary of State for External Affairs, announced today in the House of Commons that Israel’s Foreign Minister Abba Eban has accepted his invitation to visit Canada and plans to be here in the middle of May. Following upon the visit by Mr. Sharp last November to Israel, Mr. Eban’s visit here will, according to Mr. Sharp, provide an opportunity to review issues of concern common to both countries as well as “bilateral relations.”
