Foreign Minister Abba Eban will visit Brazil. Uruguay and Argentina next month as an official guest of their governments, the Foreign Ministry announced today. The Ministry said Mr. Eban’s ten-day tour was part of Israel’s effort to maintain good relations with Latin American countries, particularly in view of Arab attempts to undermine Israel’s standing in South America. Lack of time prevents Mr. Eban from visiting other Latin American countries at this time.
