A national conference on economic affairs in Israel will be held here on Nov. 14 under the auspices of the Zionist Organization of America, it was reported here today. The parley will seek to explore Israel’s economic problems and the methods by which those problems can be solved so as to assure the largest possible immigration into the Jewish state.
Economic experts from Israel and the United States will join with Zionist leaders here to formulate a program which will spur the investment of capital in the Jewish state. The detailed program of the Israel Corporation of America, which will be launched immediately following the parley, will also be announced.
Conference speakers will include M.J. Gerring, managing director of the African-Palestine Investors, Ltd., a top Israeli economic expert; Jacob Reiser, chief architect of the Israeli Government and the Jewish Agency; Dr. Israel Goldstein, treasurer of the Jewish Agency; and Jacob M. Alkow, secretary of the Israel Corporation of America.
