The Union of Rumanian Jews has asked Jews of Rumania to notify the Union of all cases that come to their attention as employers or employes in which the new government order for the protection of national labor affects the Jewish population adversely, it was disclosed today.

Such information is deemed necessary in order that the Union can take immediate – steps to defend the interests of the Jewish victims.

The new government order for the protection of national labor may affect thousands of Jewish employes who may be ousted from their work. Reports from various parts of the country indicate that Jewish employers were informed by local authorities that they would do well to dismiss their Jewish employes and replace them with Rumanian. Various reprisals were threatened for those Jewish employers who refused to comply.
