The dismissal of Ivan Greenberg, editor of the Jewish Chronicle, which was announced yesterday, is understood to have been caused by his criticism of the British Government’s actions in Palestine.
It was announced that Greenberg, who was editor of the Chronicle for the past ten years, was dismissed by the board of directors for “differences of opinion in editorial policy.” He was associated with the newspaper in various capacities for a period of 20 years.
