Edmonton Jew Becomes First Jewish Member of Alberta Parliament

A.W. Miller of this city today took his seat in the legislature of the Province of Alberta, and thus became the first Jew to sit in the Parliament of Alberta since its constitution as a province in 1905. Samuel Bronfman, president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, has extended congratulations to the Edmonton solicitor on behalf of the Jewish community of Canada.
