Edouard Bernstein, leader of the German Socialist Revisionists, declined to accept renomination at the Conference of the Social Democratic Party held here for the purpose of selecting Party candidates for the forthcoming Parliamentary elections. Mr. Bernstein, who is 78, refused to be a candidate acount of his advanced age.
Tribute was paid him for his great work for the party and the movement, nationally and internationally, throughout his long life.
