Deputy Isaac Gruenbaum, who asked that the budget of the Ministry of Education and Religions be reduced by 1 Zloty, was requested by the Minister of Education in the session of the budget commission today to submit full details substantiating his charge that Jewish pupils in Polish public schools were mistreated and insulted.
Deputy Gruenbaum had made general reference to such cases. The Minister of Education declared that such occurrences should not be permitted as he is of the opinion that children in the public schools must be treated with equality, without regard to their religion or nationality.
