Prussian Minister of Education Recker, criticized in the Diet for his stand in prohibiting students organizations to adopt as their principle the theory of anti-Semitic Aryanism, excluding Jews from membership, remained adamant in refuting the attack.

Urged by the Voelkische deputies to withdraw the order, Becker stated that he will not do so as he believes that to permit the students to organize on the basis of racial prejudice would be contrary to the spirit of the constitution.
