A “Conference on the Critical Problems of Education in Israel” was held here today under the auspices of the National Council of Jewish Women. Among the noted educators who participated in the parley were Dr. Paul Klapper, president of Queens College, Dr. Alexander Dushkin, executive vice-president of the Jewish Education Committee of N.Y., Dr. Abraham Katsh, professor of education at New York University, Louis Kraft, general secretary of the national council of the National Jewish Welfare Board, and Mrs. Samuel Wolk, of the Jewish Teachers Association.
