Leo W. Schwarz, former rabbi of Vassar Temple, Poughkeepsie, N. Y., will address the triennial convention of the National Council of Jewish Women at New Orleans on March 13, it was announced yesterday by Mrs. Arthur Brin, president of the organization. His subject, “Translating Our Jewish Heritage,” will be discussed on the third day of the six-day convention.
Rabbi Schwarz, associated with some of the newest trends in Jewish education, has initiated two institutions: the New School for Jewish Education in Westchester, and the School for Adult Jewish Education in this city.
