Edward Norman, chairman of the American Fund for Israel Institutions, who is now visiting Israel, today made public his personal endownment of $50,000 for a physical training institute to be established near Nathanya. The institute will be named in honor of Gen. Charles Orde Wingate, British general and friend of Zionism, who died in a plane crash in Burma in 1943.
